For the dates, times, and places for tryouts coming up look below!
Boys Basketball will be meeting everyday in the DHS gym from 2:30-6:00 starting Monday, November 16th and ending Wednesday, November 18th.
Wrestling tryouts will be located in the DHS wrestling room from 3:00-5:00 on Monday November 16th.
Also on Monday if you’re trying out for the Boys Bowling team meet at Rollaway Lanes starting at 2:45.
Then On Tuesday, November 17th Girls Bowling team will host tryouts at Rollaway Lanes starting at 2:45.
The Boys/Girls Bowling team tryouts will be Thursday, November 19th at Rollaway Lanes Starting at 2:45.
Finally, Boys Swim tryouts are from 3:00-4:30 at Kearsley’s Pool on Monday, November 23rd.

DAVISON (DTV) – (11/10/2020) – Every face-to-face senior student will receive a cap and gown order in their English 12 class.
First, although, you must fill out the reservation form here.
Virtual students can pick up the order form just outside the main office.
These forms must be given to the main office once filled out.
You can also order the form on the Jostens website.
You can mail the form to Jostens directly or call them at 810-658-1700.
Also, senior headshots are due on the 23rd of November. You can send them by emailing them to the yearbook team at this email: dhsyearbookteam@gmail.com

DAVISON (DTV) – (11/3/2020) – HOSA is sponsoring the Gift of Life once again for a competition across many different schools.
How can we win?:
Recruit the most NEW registered organ and tissue donors!
It has already begun and will end on the 20th of November. Last year, the Davison High School HOSA came in 4th out of 15 other schools which is impressive, but we can do better!

DAVISON (DTV) – (10/22/2020) – Cool to Care is ramping up again this year in Davison. Donations of non-perishable food items and hygiene products are being accepted at Davison Schools through December 8th.
This year because of Covid-19, a new way to donate has been added. You can now donate money through the e-funds website. Just click here. For every 2 cans or every $1 donated, the students name will go into a drawing to win a gift card.
All items and money donated go to Outreach East right here in Davison.

DAVISON (DTV) – (10/21/20) – It’s week 5, the final week of the high school football season and a #DavisonMade senior athlete is being recognized locally.
Cardinals wide receiver Dion Brown Jr. has been nominated for Flint Area High School Player of the Week through mlive.
If you would like show Dion a little love, click HERE to go vote for him! You can vote multiple times a day. Voting ends Friday October 23, at 9 a.m.

DAVISON(DTV) – (10/16/20) – The Davison Cardinal Varsity Football team is traveling north Friday night to take on the Saginaw Arthur Hill Lumberjacks. After an unexpected week off, the Cards say they’re ready to get back on the field. Davison currently stands undefeated, while Arthur Hill has a record of 0-4. The Cardinals have beaten the Lumberjacks easily for the last two years.
In the Cardinals downtime, senior defensive end Kobe Sellers says the team has been focusing on the little details.

DAVISON(DTV) – (10/13/20) – Davison’s Athletic Director, Dave Beamer, is helping to raise money and awareness for breast cancer during the month of October.
As part of the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign, Mr. Beamer has set a goal to raise $2500 for the American Cancer Society. As of Tuesday October 13th he was in the number 3 spot for Mid-Michigan candidates.
On Dave’s “Real Men Wear Pink” page, he says, “Breast cancer affects everyone – it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. That’s why I’m stepping up to fight breast cancer with all I have. Since I’m in a position to make a difference within my community, I believe I have an obligation to do so. By raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, I’m helping to save more lives from breast cancer.”
Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research, and patient support.
