Davison homecoming is this week
DAVISON (DTV) – (9/30/2020) – Davison’s 2020 Homecoming week is here! Here is what you need to know for the week ahead.
This year’s Homecoming will be much different than in year’s past, but we want to celebrate this year the best we can in our new normal. Unfortunately, there will be NO homecoming pep rally assembly, powderpuff game, community tailgate, or dance. Due to the relaxing of restrictions, there will be a small homecoming parade and limited seating at the homecoming game on Friday. We will be having a spirit week, elect a homecoming court with the king and queen being crowned at the homecoming game, watch a video of our kick-off assembly in team time and hold a classroom door decoration contest.
Homecoming Week starts Monday, October 5th, and runs until October 9th.
This year’s theme will be…
Superhero!
The Homecoming parade will be on the last day of Homecoming week, Friday, October 9th. It will start at 5 pm. Because of the size of the parade, participants are limited to those strictly involved with the night’s activities. This will include our senior homecoming court, underclassmen princes and princesses, marching band, cheerleaders, pompon, and dance teams. The parade will follow its normal course beginning at the high school, traveling west on Clark Street and then north on Main Street.
Monday—Pajamas (pay $1 to wear pajamas)
Tuesday—Twin Day
Wednesday—Jersey Day
Thursday—Superhero Day/Class T-Shirt Day (Freshman-Spiderman, Sophomores-Iron Man, Juniors-Superman, Seniors-Batman)
