DAVISON (DTV) – (07/24/2024) – Before the big presidential election in November, Michiganders have the opportunity to vote in the August 6th primary elections.
Davison residents will have the chance to vote for candidates running for positions such as the US Senate, Davison Township Board (Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and Trustees), County Commissioner, a proposal on a 911 millage, and more.
Early voting will take place from July 27th until August 4th at the Davison Township building. Anyone registered to vote and who has not requested an absentee ballot is eligible to vote early.
To register to vote, please click here. The following are required in the state of Michigan for registering to vote:
- A Michigan resident (at the time you register) and a resident of your city or township for at least 30 days (when you vote). *Teens aged 16-17 may legally Pre-Register to vote in the state of Michigan.
- A United States citizen
- At least 18 years of age (when you vote)
- Not currently serving a sentence in jail or prison
