DAVISON (DTV) – (10/21/24) – If you’re registered to vote by November 5th, you are officially able to go to the polls and vote.
If you want to vote a little early; Michigan offers early voting. You can choose whether to vote on Election Day or during the early voting period. This can be especially helpful if it would be difficult or not possible for you to vote on Election Day, and Early Voting polls may be less crowded. In-person Absentee voting is also available. For more information on when and where absentee voting will take place, contact your local clerk.
If you plan on voting in person, you will need to bring a photo ID. Different forms of ID you could use include;
Driver’s license or state ID card (may be expired)
Federal, state, or local government-issued photo ID
Passport
Military ID card with a photo
Current student ID with a photo
Tribal ID card with a photo
To vote, you have to go to your assigned polling place. To find where you are supposed to vote, fill out the form HERE. Polls are open from 7 pm, to 8 pm. When you arrive, you will have to sign in, mark your ballot, and cast it. It’s that easy!
