DAVISON (DTV) – (06/13/24) – A roundabout is coming to Davison at the intersection of Lapeer Rd. and Oak Rd. Construction for the project will start on Monday June 17th. The intersection will be completely closed to all traffic. Detour signs will be posted. The detour takes drivers from Lippincott Blvd. to M-15 to Davison Rd. and vice versa.

If your daily schedule takes you in the area of construction, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go. Expect delays during the last week of school during pick up and drop off times.  The Genesee County Road Commission says weather permitting, the roundabout will be finished and open to traffic in mid-August.

DTV spoke with Kylie Dontje, the Communications Coordinator for the Genesee County Road Commission, about the project. As the project nears the finishing date we will be posting some roundabout safety tips and directions.
