DAVISON (DTV) – (2/5/2020) – In February, there will be a couple of drives in Davison Community Schools that could use your help!
Stock it to me Drive:
Items donated to this drive will restock consumables in our schools in the Davison school district to assist students in need.
Mrs. Maria Freeman has joined forces with these local churches: Journey Ministries and the Davison Free United Methodist Church. Freeman is doing this out of the kindness of her heart which is greatly appreciated to those in need at DCS!
The Collection box will be in front of the main office, hungry for your donations!
Things you can donate are listed below!
- Trial sized toiletry items
- Full-sized or travel-sized deodorant
- Toothbrushes
- Lip balm
- Face & body wipes
- Facewash
- Feminine hygiene products
- Laundry pods or small-sized laundry soap
- Quick fix food items such as macaroni & cheese cups, pasta cups, oatmeal cups or packets,
cereal bars, granola bars, jerky,
fruit cups, etc.
Gently used warm items Drive:
Another drive happening February 3rd and ending on the 14th is the warm items drive.
There will be a collection of gently used hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, socks, sweat-pants, stretch pants, tennis shoes, and new underclothes.
This drive is sponsored by a member of the National Honors Society.
All items collected will be donated equally among the elementary schools in Davison.
Collection containers will be by the doors of the school.
Thank you to everyone who has donated!
DHS COAT DRIVE:
Davison High School is also currently accepting new or gently worn coats. The rack is right outside of the main office and is available to any student in need.
