FLINT (DTV) – (05/07/2019) – The lead prosecutor in the Flint water investigation was let go by the new Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Flood led the prosecutions of 15 people in the Flint Water Crisis.
It was said that he failed to completely pursue possibly crucial evidence intertwined to cases in the ongoing crisis. This came after documents were located in the basement of a state owned building.
The previous Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy gained the lead on the cases earlier this year. As previously stated, the Flint Water Crisis is far from over as it sits on its 5th year.
