DAVISON (DTV) – (05/18/2018) – Junior Reserve Officer Traning Corps, or JROTC, is a GCI program that attempts to guide students down the right path into their future. It is the largest youth development program of the Department of Defense.
91 students from 21 different schools in Genesee County all follow a creed to develop them into well rounded people. Many high school students who are involved say they feel strongly about JROTC, and that it has changed their life.
To be a part of the program you do not need need to have an interest in a military career. JROTC gives many great opportunities to its students. From scholarships to resume patting, the program has several classes to choose from including; equestrian team with horse back, Raider team with rock climbing, and even paintball and air soft battles. The program will guide you, as well as help you find things to be interested in.
