DAVISON (DTV)-(03/01/19) Tim Bishop has been the mayor of Davison for 8 years but also has run a hot dog stand for the last 9 ½ years called “B-Dogs”. He previously had owned a used sporting goods store in downtown Davison until he realized, nobody owned a food stand on his street so he did some research and bought a hot dog cart.
With the opening of his new hot dog stand, he was losing time in his store. When he was in his store, he was losing valuable time with his hot dog cart. So unfortunately Mr. Bishop had an ultimatum to make, it was either to continue in the game of owning a store or to pursue grillin’ some dogs.
All in all he decided some dogs needed to flipped, he was making more money with the hot dog cart so to ease the load of running two separate businesses he walked away from the sports store. From baseball games to sitting at the corner of downtown Davison to get the word out about his business, you can currently spot Mayor Bishop in a booth at the Flint farmers market. The profit from this hot dog decision has made him consider relying on this full-time when his mayor term comes to a close. If you want to catch Mr. Bishop in action stop on by the Flint farmers market and pick up a fresh dog!
