DAVISON (DTV) – (10/08/20) – The following information was recently sent out from the Davison Community Schools Administrative Office regarding free and reduced lunch for students.
While we currently are able to provide free lunches to all DCS students regardless of income, we do not know how long the USDA will continue to fund this initiative. Initially, the Department indicated it would continue funding the program through autumn.
Because of that, we are encouraging parents who think their families may qualify for the 2020-21 Free and Reduced Lunch Program to complete an application as soon as possible.
Nearly 50 percent of DCS students participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Students who participate receive the same lunch choices as those students who purchase their meals.
Families can complete a free and reduced lunch application for their students anytime household income changes throughout the school year.
You can apply online at https://www.lunchapp.com/ or download and print off the application below. Hard copies of the applications are also available at any school building.
