DTV has been nominated for The National Student Production Awards for Best story. After winning the regional award, the story was put into the running for nationals. Out of thousands of submissions dtv was chosen among 5 others, and if we win this would be the first time in dtv history. The awards are in LA and the winners will be announced on TODAY.

ABC 12 came in to interview the creators of the Story Bailey Talaska and Alesia Paxton Watch the Story Here . Also, DTV for the 4th year in a row was nominated for the Pacemaker award for Best Newscast. Last year DTV went to Indianapolis for the awards and got to meet lots of other young news stations and attend lot of fun classes. This year the awards are in Dallas Texas, November 16-19 and there are 15 other finalist in the newscast category. Here is a list of the other news stations that are nominees.
