DAVISON (DTV) – (05/16/18) – The Davison High School talent show kicked off Wednesday night, May 9th, with a wide variety of performances. There were several musical talent acts that showed up, but there were also some unique acts. From interpretive sign language to a dance with a Hula Hoop, people brought their ‘A’ game.
These young girls and boys with true talent sure won’t be dumb or broke one day. You could certainly feel the love in the auditorium as the students who put the time in to practice, performed their hearts out.
Even with a few technical difficulties the show kept going with an impromptu comedy skit by the host Karissa Bombe.
The event ended with Nataleigh Gell in third place with a $25 reward for her lovely hula hoop dance routine to the song “Young, Dumb, and Broke” by Khalid. Second place was Tristram Shayna and Carrington Terry for performing “Nikes” by Frank Ocean. They won a $50 reward. And taking it all, the first place winners were Sarah Johnson and Aliesha Butterfield who sung the song ‘Electric Love” by BORNS. They received a $75 reward for their talents.
