DAVISON (DTV) – (1/30/20) – Snowcoming week is finishing out with plenty of sports to start off February.
Along with the rivalry match-up in Friday’s basketball doubleheader, three other teams will be heading out to compete. The hockey team will be hitting the rink against Escanaba at the Arctic Coliseum, with the puck drop at 2 P.M. The Cardinal bowlers will take to the lanes at 4, going up against Saginaw Heritage. The swimmers will dive into their competition at Grand Blanc at 6. You can catch the results for these events in our newscast the following Monday. Back at DHS, the basketball games will start with the girls at 6, and the guys will tip off at 7:30. Saturday will begin with Davison wrestling’s first match of the post season against Carman-Ainsworth at 9 A.M. The bowlers will have a busy day ahead of them, with the girls taking on Lapeer at Davison’s Rollaway Lanes at 10:30 in the morning, and the boys will be over at Gerlach Lanes in Lapeer at the same time. They’ll flip around for their next matches at two, with the girls heading out to Lapeer and the boys coming back to Rollaway. The hockey team will end things off for Davison sports on Saturday with their game at the Arctic Coliseum at 6:30 as they take on Muskegon Mona Shores.
Finally on Sunday, the lone team competing for Davison will be varsity pom, heading out to Central Michigan University, starting at 12:30.
