DAVISON (DTV) – (8/28/2020) – All across Michigan, many major school events have been canceled because of Covid-19, but the Davison Cardinal Marching Band wasn’t going to let that get in the way of their music.
Just a few hours before the Marching Band’s big performance on Friday, August 28th, there was a thunderstorm raging outside. As the rain started to clear a rainbow could be seen and they began their practice for what was their first and last show for the fall season.
Friday nights at Davison usually have a much different sound with fans in the bleachers and our football team on the field. While the stadium lights were on, the only ones on the field were the Marching Band members putting every ounce of frustration and joy into their performance. After weeks of tuning their instruments, practicing on the field, and dealing with rain, along with wet turf they were finally ready to play “Quidam” from Cirque Du Soleil.
The band took the field at 9:30 for a fantastic performance. You can watch it now on our YouTube DTV News.
Great job to the Davison Cardinal Marching Band! Click the video to see their full performance.
